PERSONALITY Gabriel is very quiet, ever since his mother’s death, talking wasn’t something Gabe did a lot of, his sister and foster parents tried getting him to go to a therapist, but that got him no where. They tired getting him involved in sports and clubs, maybe to socialize him a bit, but he still didn’t talk much. The most he said was ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ he still had manors even if he was silent. As he got older he began talking a bit more, but really only to his sister. He really only talk to people who show to him that their true friends, some just use and abuse him, other’s just enjoy picking on him. For him to really talk to you, he has to know you’ll be a real friend to him, since he doesn’t have many of those.
Gabe is a very scared, worried guy. Just by looking at him you could see in his eyes that he’s scared, he never really looks angry or happy or excited, just scared. He pretty much gives off a sense of fear. Gabe is easily scared, he’s very jumpy most of the time and stutters a lot when he speaks. He has anxiety disorder so he’s constantly worrying about nothing; the littlest things make him paranoid. He also has panic attacks, which he pretty much got from the anxiety problems and the attacks don’t help his fear and worry at all. He never knows when their going to happen so just the smallest twinge in his gut or the slightest headache makes him fear for the worst.
He isn’t angered very easily; Gabe has a very high boiling point that most can’t reach to. He was never a angry person and many were surprised. Usually after traumatic events like what Gabe went through, many have attitude problems; they can’t control their tempers and usually turn into such rebels because they don’t want to be bothered with reality. While it’s true Gabe doesn’t want to be bothered with the real world, he’s never really yelled at anyone. If he had the chance though he’d yell at his ‘father’ for killing his mom, but luckily he’ll never have to see him again. Gabe doesn’t like being outside his comfort zone, and that zone isn’t a very big area. Everything outside the realm of comfort is strange and unfamiliar and much too much for Gabe to handle and any given moment. The more his foster parents tried to socialize him in the world, the more quiet and secluded Gabe came. The more people, like his foster parents, or his therapist or even some friends, tried to get into his business, the more he pushed away. He likes to keep to himself, if he wants to talk to you, he’ll let you know.
Gabriel is defiantly submissive. He likes being over powered and loves when others take control, mostly because he can‘t handle being in control of anyone other then himself. He loves when others know what to do and do it, as long as it’s okay with Gabe first. He doesn’t like really aggressive people and he’s defiantly not aggressive himself. He won’t go out of his way to do anything for himself or for others, unless that person is really special to him. Gabe likes being held and cuddled and kissed on, because if you can get past the scared and frightened exterior, you’ll see theirs a really sweet guy in there. Gabe’s just hoping someone will see that.
LIKES thunderstorms, old fashion cars, photography, classic rock, acoustic guitar, reading, writing, dogs, the beach, nature, being alone, comic books, school, Eskimo kisses, cuddling, autumn, organization, veggies
DISLIKES being on boats, birds, humid weather, anxiety, panic attacks, counting, clutter, blood, gore, small spaces, being sick, bullies, death, arguing, math, judgmental people, bee's, animal abuse, meat
FEARS
"I'm scared of my panic attacks, I can't control them and they can get bad. So I worry and it makes it worst. It's a loose loose situation."
"I'm afraid no one will ever love me. I'm a handful and I don't think anyone will want to deal with all my problems."
SECRETS
"I saw my father, well he's not my father but I thought he was, I saw him kill my mother. I just remember him holding the gun, the sound, her falling, then everything went black. I thought I had died too, but then I woke up."
"I scratch my arms when I get nervous or anxious, sometimes I scratch until it bleeds. I can't help it."
HISTORY Gabriel Vincent Landon was born to Veronique Chase, a famous actress, and William Landon, a well known movie director. The two met on the set of a movie Will was directing and Veronique was staring in. William fell head over heals for her the second he met her but it took Veronique awhile to warm up to him, and even when they did become close, she had many doubts about this guy. One night the two of them were out with a few others from the set of the movie and were having a few drinks. Veronique had a few too many and wound up getting dead ass drunk. William took advantage of her that night and ended up ruining her movie career for her. She found out she was pregnant a couple weeks later and wanted to kill William, but he wanted to be the better man and take responsibility. He wanted to marry Veronique, and as much as she despised the slime ball for what he did, she no longer had a career and she needed some good money for her child. So she married him and the two moved into William’s mansion in Los Angelus where he was shooting a new movie. Nine months later Veronique gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Amery, bright blue eyes like her dad and platinum blonde hair like her mother.
About two years later Veronique was pregnant again, William was so happy to know he was going to have another baby Veronique was not. This baby ended up being more complicated then Amery had been. Gabriel Vincent Landon was born almost a month premature. He was born with light brown hair and beautiful green eyes. William was confused, neither one of them had brown hair nor did they had green eyes, why was he so different. Gabriel was kept in the hospital for about a month until he was well enough to go home. William continued questioning why Gabriel was so much different then the rest of them, but Veronique said nothing. As Gabriel grew up, it was obvious he was different then most. His first grade teacher told his parents about he troubles he had in class, he couldn’t control the volume of his voice most days and he didn’t even realize it. He almost always was tripping over something or running into something, He couldn’t stay focused on one person. As he was learning to count teacher’s realized he repeated numbers over and over again Gabriel never realized. He would button his coat, then un button it and re button it again, over and over. Gabriel’s second grade teacher suggested his parents take him to see a doctor.
Gabriel was diagnosed with Asperger’s Disorder. The essential features of Asperger's disorder are severe social interaction impairment and restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior and activities. It is similar to autism, but children with Asperger's do not have the same difficulties in acquiring language that children with autism have. This was probably a effect from the premature birth, he hadn’t been developed and when he was born too early, something never fully finished. Gabe didn’t seem to grow out of it like Veronique and Will had hoped. He went through all of elementary school repeating himself whether it be talking or counting or doing anything.
When Gabriel was in 5th grade his parents were arguing a lot, his mom was constantly yelling at his dad for ruining her career and her life, his dad would yell right back at her that she was a slut. Amery would usually take Gabriel out to the park or something, away from the fighting because it was never good for him to be around, but one day was different. The two were coming back from the park, and in their house they could hear screaming. Not the normal arguing screaming they usually heard but real deathly screams of agony. Amery and Gabe ran into the house quickly to see their mom and dad in the kitchen, their dad holding a gun and their moms upper arm bleeding where a bullet must have penetrated. Apparently Veronique had slept with another man after Amery was born, Gabe wasn’t Will’s baby, it was some man she had met at a bar. Gabe and Amery were frozen in fear, Will had always had anger problems and now was the worst, and he learned his little boy wasn’t his. And only moments later, another gunshot was launched at their mother, square in the chest. Amery was crying, Will was crying, Gabriel wasn’t, his whole body had shut down. Police sirens were outside his house and everything after that was a blur, policemen were running around him, one picked him up and brought him outside while others took his dad in the opposite direction. He remembered seeing his moms figure under the white sheet and he remembered Amery with him the whole time.
Gabriel didn’t talk for almost two weeks after that, him and Amery were put up for adoption and were taken in by a lovely older women and her husband, along with two other adopted kids, one was Gabriel’s age and another was only about four years old. He was sent to therapy, but he never talked, finally when he didn’t speak, it wasn’t much. He didn’t want to talk about his feelings; he didn’t want to talk to anyone really. He separated himself from his friends at school, he pulled away from his foster parents an even from his sister. Only once did he ever break down crying, he just cried and cried all night until he was sick from crying so much, but he never did cry about it ever again. Gabriel was in 8th grade when he began having panic attacks, he didn’t know hat they were at first but the doctor said it was probably associated with the death of his mother. These attacks weren’t curable and usually happened at the oddest times. Gabriel has pretty much learned to live with them and as much has he wants to control them, he can’t. He constantly fears when they’re going to happen, making him a very scared and worried child almost all the time. This also contributed to his anxiety problems.
Gabriel was in his freshman year when he began having problems with self-damage and depression. He was cutting out of depression, not understanding why everything was the way it was. He cut his legs and upper arms so it wasn’t as obvious, but his sister figured it out. He was forced to stop cutting so he found other ways to hurt himself. This was the time where he welcomed Panic attacks, he enjoyed the feeling of having no control, and if it left him with a bruise, then so be it. Now however, he’s even more fearful of them then he should be because of how he treated them when he was younger. He itched his skin a lot causing rashes and deep red streaks everywhere that didn’t go away easily, only scarred his once flawless skin. He was sent to Therapy again once his sister and Foster parents discovered what was going on. He found other ways to handle his feelings and was out of his depression by sophomore year.
When Gabe graduated high school his foster parents sat him down and told him about the University of Santorini. They felt the change of schools to one more ‘appropriate’ for him might be best for him. They hoped by sending him to Santorini he would open up more, maybe make some friends and maybe be more of a normal kid. Gabe wasn’t sure how well that was going to work but he didn’t argue, even if Amery did. He didn’t care much where he was sent, as much as he wished he didn’t let people control his life so much, he did and he still does.

STYLE Gabe normally wears whatever he can pull out of his closet that morning. He isn’t very picky about it. A simple shirt and jeans along with a hoodie will do He also likes just plain T-shirts. Style isn’t important to him and will wear just about anything. He wore a lot of second hand clothes as a kid cause his family was short on money so he wore most of his older cousins clothes. Gabriel has a tattoo on his shoulder blade that says, “If you don’t live for something you’ll die for nothing”.
Gabe has naturally pale skin. He doesn’t tan, and doesn’t spend a ton of time in the sun, so his skin stays very white. His skin is a cream colored and looks so soft, which it is. He has shiny green eyes that give off a hint of wonder and almost always looked scared or worried, which he usually is. He has a big slopped nose, He doesn’t care for it much because he feels it is taking over his face but it works for him, most people find it cute, most-not Gabe though.
Gabriel number uno obsession has to be his hair. He cares more about that then almost anything He takes better care of his hair then he does of his room or anything else in his life. These days Gabe could care less about anything around him, but he really likes his hair, since it was about the only thing he cared about in foster, his foster parents didn’t make him cut it. His hair is naturally brown, he isn‘t one for dying his hair, he feels natural is better then anything else. Old people think he needs to cut it but he doesn’t care much what other’s think about him. It’s pushed across his forest to hide his large forehead and eyebrows.
Gabriel is a small guy, he always had been because he was a premature baby, and even though some preemie babies grow healthy, Gabe never did. His height is no more then 5’5 He was always a short kid and people even made fun of him for that sometimes, other made fun of his mental problems. He weighs more then he looks though, looks can be very deceiving. For being a bit on the short side you would think he was super skinny, but he has some meat on is bones. He weighs a bit over 140lbs and that might be because he eats a lot.
Gabe is always seen wearing a silver ring around his neck on a chain, it was given to him when he was five from his mom on his birthday, Gabe didn’t understand what the importance of this ring was, it wasn’t the wedding ring she wore everyday nor was it a family ring passed down from generation to generation, plus Amery didn’t get one…so why did he have it. He wore it despite the fact that he didn’t know why, and his mom didn’t tell him. He found out, however after his moms death, that Will wasn’t his real father, and the ring was a gift to his mom from him. He only wears the ring because he had met his real dad when he was twelve and he really liked him, and the ring was kind of a memory of his mom and a gift from his real dad.
